Villain was 40/40/37(3bet)

Im guessing this is a fold right? After going over the hand, I think I need to raise bigger on the flop and try and just get it in, I was sort of auto piloting at the time, so I wasn't paying full attention.

i think easy fold and move on. if villian likes ot make bluffs like that by going all in, just take his monies later.

that being said i agree with raising more on the flop. lot's of J9/89/9T combos will peel for a second card and JT might get it in. i think 8T is in his range too, but less likely since you have 88.
