bet the flop. You put yourself in a huge guessing game if you don't bet the flop. Your opponent can be betting for value or even a doing a huge bluff here, since your hand looks like a weak showdown value hand. If you are planning on checking the flop, realize that you are slow playing and that you should be calling down much lighter. But i'd just bet the flop for value and information.

but by checking each street you're letting villain play optimally. Bet flop and turn. Get value from those draws.

I assumed you checked the flop to wait to a safe turn to get the money in. So why no turn donk or c/r?
