so villain is a 6-tabling reg who puts in a lot of volume, seems to be very good and never seems to get out of line.

we very recently played a hand where i made an horrendous call down and he owned me by raising thinnish OTF and barreling. thus i think to him i have a very stationy/bluffcatchy image at this point.

turn seemed pretty close, figured i'd let him bet his AJ type hands rather than fold them out, but i could be convinced otherwise.

Is betting turn yourself not a good idea? I think he still calls with a lot OTT when you bet and it will let you get to showdown more since you can have Kx by the river whereas it's difficult for you to have many Kx when you c/c the turn

noob question: what is OTT and OTF?

as played id call here. its close but avery OESD/GSD, flushdraw missed which should raise the air part in his range.

OTT = On The Turn, OTF = On The Flop

Personally i prefer to barrel but as played i'd call since really everything missed and he could bet a worse Q for value if he thinks you can make Ahigh calldowns.

I would bet turn 100% because i am also barrelling a bunch of my draws. Then i'd be check calling blank rivers vs him because he can easily bet a worse hand for value considering history.
