What is your longest down swing? What is your longest down swing?

I play live at the 2/2 with $5 rock and 5/5 with $10 rock level primarily.

The past couple of months have been extremely swingy for me and I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels. Win $600 one night, $800 the next, then lose $1700 the third night.
Are you serious? You lost 170x rock a night and you think that's extremely swingy?

That was an example of what I've been experiencing for a couple of months straight, in condensed form, to represent spinning my wheels (i.e. I make some profit, I lose it back, I lose money, I make it back and essentially break even)

Despite getting the droolers in spots most folks dream of (where I've got 90% equity) multiple times.

So just venting my frustration over a couple months of what feels like no progress, one step forward, two steps back.

Over my career I win 2/3 of my sessions and have a great hourly, just the past two months have been more brutal than what I've experienced generally.

I only play in Tampa so I can't speak on other parts of the state.

But FL seems to have become a hotbed for poker action since other areas in the US lagged behind opening up and offering games.

So we've been positively flooded with people from out of state playing, especially for various series, breaking records, etc.

Tampa has a WPT series coming up at the start of June and running for multiple weeks. They're finally moving the series to their event center because the poker room can't handle the crowds.

What sucks is that Event Center is on the opposite side of the property from the poker room (i.e. impacts bustouts easily wandering into a cash game) but it will hopefully reduce the issue of not enough cash tables because half of them were taken up for tournament players.

I just hope they can handle the crowds, it's going to be an absolute zoo (they're offering a $500 NLHE $1 million gtd and a $3500 with a $2 million guarantee) and I question whether they have enough dealers to run in the event center and the poker room, I'm assuming they'll be bringing in traveling dealers for the series, I don't believe they have enough local staff to meet the demand.
