Playing PLO from OOP tips? Playing PLO from OOP tips?

Sometimes I go into these sessions where I値l have a string of decent AA or KK hands in early position, almost consecutively. And I値l usually end up raising preflop, and then I値l repeatedly flop top set. And I値l bet, get a bunch of calls, bet again, get another call or two, and the river will repeatedly complete the conspicuous straight or flush draw; most of the money is already in the middle, I知 out of position, and my opponent has the opportunity to rep the completed draw, so I usually just get the rest in myself and lose.

And then I値l flop the same type of hand on a dry enough flop, no one believes me, and it happens all over again.

When I flop strong hands in early position, is there another way that I知 supposed to be playing? Should I be checking and calling instead, or check-raising when possible instead?

It can be difficult to answer general questions like this. Instead post a specific hand. There have been threads with 15 replies and even threads with 30 replies.

For example you couple post a hand you have played with AAxx out of position. And get some replies. You digest that information and then a day or two later you post another hand that you've played with different cards and a different board texture. And people will discuss that scenario. This way of posting specific hands might take a longer to understand everything about the game, but it does better than the generalization tip posts that don't get many tips.

You clearly are seeing how damn hard it is to play the great game of pot limit omaha out of position. Figure out specific ways to play AA or KK with or without hitting a set. Figure out hot to specifically play the nut flush draw with or without backup. Figure out how to play the straights and straight draws with or without backup/redraws.

Grab a specific hand you've played out of position and post it below.
