I can't make this call but I really think villain has a straight flush here and this is why:

1. Villain is a winner at these stakes. See consistently with 10x the buy in and plays multiple tables where typically has about 5x the buy in
2. Villain plays super tight. I have 2500 hands history with this villain. RFI UTG 13 cbet 50%. Turn folds to bet 75% of the time and check raises 3% (1 out of 29).
3. Villain is very tight and every time I call when they show strength they have it and when they show weakness they still win 50% of the time if it gets to showdown.

I can't call here as villain would only check raise a flush. They are just too tight otherwise. I have the Ad which means villain doesn't have nut flush. Villain would only check raise pot with the nuts. If they had K or Q high flush they'd only call. With a set they'd only call.

Thoughts? I know it doesn't matter as it's a fold on my part (Maybe I check turn but figure I bet and if I get called I check river) but really curious if others see the same read I do.

Even against tight villain, its still probably a call.

Your image and how wide he thinks you bet/bluff the turn matters. So does additional equity in the form of 2p, a set or even straight flush redraw. Also additional diamond blockers.

I should add villain would raise UTG with a double suited rundown here. I have two A so unlikely that's in their hand. Leaves his range to KKxx or a rundown although my 9s would be a blocker to a straight

Agreed. Straight is there on the flop which really hurts our advantage in overpairs. Despite the several reads of competence provided, I wouldn't count on him leading much and we have to be more selective with cbets. I kinda get it that with the Ad and 9s we're turning our hand into a bluff but not sure that OP sees it that way. With the two blockers and *without* hearts I'd be more inclined to bluff but with seems better to check and realize some equity.

As played terrible turn card. Still not clear that OP realizes his turn bet is a bluff. Would be better as a check-give up, I think given the board's broad improvement.

I really don't think flop cbet is that bad. We could talk about why we think check is better but our hand has enough board interaction and equity vs ep open for it to be reasonable. Perhaps even more so vs tight opponent.

Probably not my preferred sizing though.

I think a small bet on these boards are good, from what I've seen, but a bit larger is ok too.

Flop bet is not entirely indefensible, but I think just an Ad and a 9 is still not enough. We still have options to bluff after checking back after all.
