Hi all,
$1/$2 5-card, hero playing around $400. Competent V covers. Hero completes BB with A-9-7-6-2ss. Pot $20.
Flop: A-5-4r. Checks through.
Turn: A. Hero bets $15, MP raises $65. Hero? Assuming V has a boat (55 or Ax), should hero call to try to outdraw V or is hero not getting right direct odds/implied odds to call?
Thanks,
DT

I'm folding, though please clarify the action as it's not clear how many players saw the flop and if blinds were correct.

2:1 with 9 outs, some of which could easily be to a chop, I favour a fold.

You need a bit better than 4:1 and we’re getting 2:1 so have to average $100 of winnings every time we hit. I think that’s hard to do OOP. If you bink river are you going to lead or check? If you lead pot will you get called 2/3 of the time? If you check how often does it get checked behind?
I think I fold this hand OOP but would call in position. With position sometimes you’ll river the nuts and V will lead into you, which allows you to raise without worrying about V checking behind. It’s also easier to play when you river the 2 for the non-nut boat and you can bet fold for value.

Also, are you suited to the ace here? If not I would just fold ore even for $3 more

Betting the turn makes zero sense here.
