Why are you leading flop? Explain your thought process.

If Villain calls your flop bet and turn bricks what is your intention?

What do you put him on when he raises your flop bet?

What is your intention on the turn with around a pot sized bet left?

Looking at it again I prefer x/c over leading this flop as we do have some showdown value(and hand is certainly strong enough to x/c). I was trying to add some medium strong hands that block V's cbet r into my leading range to get value from his weaker straight and FD's(weaker parts of his range that will be happy to take a free card). Not a great plan as we will have to slow down on any brick between 3-9. When he raises the flop I put him on AA w/nfd, wrap+FD, sets and top 2p. All of these hands will be way ahead of us on the 9x turn so AP just have to GU to psb i guess.

Flop lead isn't horrible but once raised its mostly a shove or fold flop situation, i think closer to fold unless villain is bad aggro. Having top pair and 3 spades blocks a lot of villain value-range combinations so in some ways this raise is extra-strong.

As played think turn is a fold, this is among worst possible turn cards.

Re: xc vs lead, we can expect villain to checkback a lot, this hand is good enough to start building a pot for value and vulnerable enough to want a little fold equity, and will have deceptively great coverage on broadway cards that could lead to villain making mistakes

Even though xc should still technically be better, since we have a great hand for calling down and inducing bluffs, most villains aren't going to notice range composition might not be properly balanced and punish us

SPR on the flop is 20, our hand isn't strong enough to stack off against anyone but an uber ******. Flop c/c looks good, this is a very dynamic board, so villain is probably not c-betting much air. We definitely have enough of a hand to continue, but raise-fold doesn't really make sense. Also if we raise and get called now we're oop in a huge pot and will be guessing on a lot of turns. What do you think villain's FRI is from UTG? Normally I'd rather three bet this hand from this position, but not against a tight utg range which will be four being at an uncomfortable frequency.

Your line of lead call is the worst of all possible plays.

If im leading here im shoving flop. You're ahead of all combo draws and 2 pairs. flip against set.
behind AA fd. Easy shove.

Check call flop is the standard play here.

I wouldn't call being a 2:1 dog a flip.

Sorry but absolutely hate leading the flop in single raised pot OOP with plenty of equity, but happy to be proved wrong
