Finally joined after reading this forum for over a decade. I have been playing Omaha for approx 18 months now, and just recently getting serious about the game and winning consistently.

My reason for joining is to reach out to others who are starting to build a bankroll, I'm building a one playing .10/.25 and .25/.50 PLO on Ignition.

I purchased a HUD, which works great, and plan to purchase the PLO University course when I reach my goal of $2,000 online.

Currently I'm at $721, from $100, playing about 10 to 12 hours a week since 21 July. I plan to reach 2k by the start of 2018. I also work full time so it's not easy squeezing time in everyday to play. My location is Saint Louis.

I find playing on Ignition in the evening and night to be best, as my biggest sessions have been from 9 pm to midnight. I have not ventured into any sit n go's or tournaments, strictly cash PLO for now.

For training I watch hours of JNandez vids, or anything where PLO is played well. I can tell my play is flawed, I basically play an ABC style that exploits mistakes from other players, but I have made some great reads and bluffs from time to time.

What else can I do in the meantime to increase my win rate and build my roll?

welcome, and I hope you will continue to contribute to the forums.

i say find poker friends through discord, skype, & forums.

play longer when you're running well and playing well and keep the sessions short when the beats come in.

I definitely agree. years ago, I was playing PLO live, 1-2-5 (I think), and I got all my chips in, 500 plus, with 88% on the flop. yes! in omaha! opponent was drawing to a non club 5 for a wheel, that's it. promptly a red 5 hits, board does not pair, and it made me sick. My mental game needs work, and **** I was a Marine for 8 years.

gonna see how I like Jared Tendler

My one hand at $10 $20 was similar to that. Had AAQKds - flop AT3. I had flush draw too. Villain had AT82. Turn 4 River 5. That was over 10 years ago now and I still haven't got over it.

If your bankroll is 721, then you should be staying the hell away from 50PLO, even 25PLO seems like a stretch, unless you're crushing those limits you really need at least 40BI's cause the swings can be massive and if your bankroll is 16BI's deep, then you might loose your mind with every BI that goes down.

Other then that, good luck with it, hope you do well.
