I’m favouring potting flop, given that UTG has around 40bb left. Having the 8, and, to a lesser extent, the J is an advantage. The other option of checking is still valid, since BB may check and UTG shove, enabling you to repot (don’t believe BB would be trapping). UTG can definitely shove worse overpairs and obv. draws, so checking certainly has some merit, even though any

and any card T and below might mean we have to check/fold turn.

Just Pot. There are some spots you check decide multiway or halfpot and get in vs 1 fold vs 2, but no this spr, not this board.
