I am looking for a long term staking deal for zoom plo on stars. I have been a winning player for a long time on stars but have transitioned into live games, where i didnt play well and never really adapted to live due to emotional and social issues i always had, ended up losing huge amounts of money in some massive NLHE games i played. Have been a semi pro but transitioned full time pro earlier this year. Made some bad choices and now want to come back online and grind it the right way. I would like to start at zoom 50 and move my way up. I have been playing hu plo, 6max and zoom since its inception, mainly zoom 200 and 500 and had pretty good results there, alwys made money in zoom , but lost in hu games i could not afford.

The deal i am looking is 2k start balance , 50-50 profit split . I will play 2 tables of zoom, around 10 hours per day. I believe i have huge edge in those games and see myself moving up to zoom 200 (8k bankroll) in less then 2 months. I have made more then 500k in transfers on stars, i could ask some people to vouch for me, but basically i dont know that many online poker players as i always kept to myself mostly, never joined skype groups, study groups , training sites or whatever. I do not use hud, i find it misleading , people change their games a lot these days, and i want to keep my style of play more feel based then statistic based..i would rather make a mistake based on my feel then based on a st number, i foung my feel to more reliable , and by feel i mean gameplay based decisions based on several visual, timing and other factors that are very clear in many cases, so i try to play 2 tables only for that reason, i really try to completely get into the game i am playing with 100% of my brain power to be able to outplay my opponents where possible in every situation i see possible and i have huge amount of experience in plo, as i come from a hu plo background, i am sticky and will put my opponents to the test wherever i can, but will easily get out from pots where i believe there is no piint staying in. I am very strong in maths and statistics, ranges construction, equity, equity denial, sizings etc..these are the things i try to pay most attention to and gain my edge consistently based on mathematics , also i will gamble where i see it appropriate as it is a necessary component of the game, but i try to keep it to minimum. I am ferless and will make plays that are very unortodox if i see value in them.

That's curious that someone with your self-professed background in maths would have difficulty obtaining a stake. Maybe it is because you can't figure out which is the proper forum in which to post your request.

Its not that i have extra strong mathematics bacground, i am well versed in maths ,i value mathematical approach in plo situations and try to use it when i play. I know very well what you are saying, and again i think that place is dead so i posted here, but i may post there as well. Thank you for advice.

Seems like a red flag if you have 500k+ in transfers and have been around poker so long and don't have any friends in poker who believe in your game enough to stake or loan you $ when you degen it away at game types you are losing in seemingly frequently from your OP (high stakes live NL, HU online etc)

You are right, i posted what i have, if i had other ways to get staked i would use them. it is what it is, people can choose to invest 2k or they may see it as red flag, most will see it as red flag, not much i can do about that.

i have some starts from like 2 years ago from some sample i played back then, i have improved a lot since then but still may be relevant to post..

I recommend you record a half hour session of your play, so prospective investors can see what they are getting in to. Then upload said video to utube.

50/50 starting split is silly, everyone good enough to get that rate should be able to find stakers for that amount effortlessly

I don't have stats to prove my winning rate, everyone requests proven results, i don't have those, all i can do is ask community, maybe thre are people i played with a lot who value my game, this is what i was hoping for really. I have played tons with zoom 200 and 500 regs, not recently though as i got involved in the live scene for about a year and a half which was all in all a disaster for me.
I am offering this split because i am desperate for stake, i need to start playing to pay the bills and put the food on the table.

i also want to add that i guess we could start with zoom plo 25 with 1k stake, i see it as waste of time, but if i need to prove to investors that i am capable of winning, even though it doesn't prove much but i suppose for risk factors and smaller investment sake, i will go as down as zoom 25 and play for around 10 days or less to get to 2k roll.

zoom is a rake trap, you can offer better value to investors by game selecting reg tables. bring it down to five buy ins of PLO $10 reg tables and I'm sure we can get some punters

i suppose i could do that, i always thought that zoom attracts more recreational players and gamblers, what exactly do you mean by "bring it down to five buy ins of PLO $10 reg tables"? you mean 50$ roll 5 buy ins at plo 10 reg tables, thats basically a gamble, but i dont mind the idea, since everyone can watch me play and may result in a normal stake

i can record the session too, and then post it here with cards shown and me commenting on all hands i am involved in...i ve never done this before and it may not be the best quality video, but since it may improve my chances of getting a staking deal, i will do it!

Right. So that your backer can observe how you do without risking a lot of money. There is really no point in giving you 40 buy ins up front, because A) if you lose 15 buy ins it is probably a good time to take a day or two off and B) all the money up front leaves the backer more vulnerable to a cashout scam. You can always get reloaded. Poker does not have any minimum triproll requirements.

Sure, agree to all that. Not sure still whethr to play zoom or regular, after all i am used to playing zoom online and know this format well, so i would preffer tzoom. Also, for the start i would take all important hands in boom and write short anamysys why i made crtain plays and send to investors, if they want they can post them here then. But yeah, n general we can start with 5 buy ins and see how that goes...although the gamnbling aspect is really big here, 5 buy-ins is nothing , everyone who plays zoom seriously knows this. 15 buy-ins is normal daily swing, such swings happen like 3 days out of 10, but i agree that taking a break when they happen is a good idea. I will play zoom 10 too, to get started, so we can have a session, hopefully split our profit and we take it from there.
Zoom 10 is kind of silly though, arent people lighting money on fire there, how indicative is it to say plo 100 which is also the level i am hoping to jump over quite quickly.

So OP cannot afford 5 buyins of $10 plo on his own to record a session? and has dropped his offer to saying he would accept that?
