I'm not sure if you've noticed Tyler McKendry's PG&C

tmckendry: Crushing PLO (PLO5-->PLO200)

where he's been documenting the progress starting from the point of switching from live NLHE.

I'm not into reading PG&Cs in general so I might be missing some other gems.

PG&C of great PLO'ers not related to conversion from NLHE:

urubu111: VvamooooooO 14 - Omaha

Simonsayscall: YoussefAhmed- Where Ive been, where im going: poker/life balance

Roy: Run-it-up Challenge: $1k -> $100k in 2.5 months (@PLO cash games) (started only yesterday but with a potential for epicity)

Yeah, thanks, I totally forgot about it. It seems to be discontinued, though, but so does Youssef's one (well, Benni19's bump makes us hope for its revival).

Yes, poker is cruel, but some people find it motivating to figure things out on their own, crush and then not share their trade secrets Most of the advice posted publicly is designed to lure regfish into the games imo, making them think that they've solved the game, because the industry is running out of genuine gamblers and drifting to gamification (i.e. taking money from those who're ready to pay for the aesthetics of the game and/or the thrill of missions and ego wars, rather than the RNG's quirks, though the latter certainly help disguise one's true skill level).

That can often be resolved by moving down and staying there (even if it's contrary to what the 'standard' 100/200/300 BI BRM guidelines say), but not many people are of this opinion. That's the poker flavour of the Peter principle.
