villain is a reg 28/18 stats 7% total 3bet. knows that we can bluff the river in a spot like this.

thoughts on every street? my thoughts were

pre flop - his range his fairly tight but gotta see a flop with KKds

flop - decent flop tho Im dominated by most A hi flush draws. Is folding here even a consideration?

turn - 2nd nuts, 2nd nut draw, nut blockers. Call seems like only play. Would it be a fold if I only had Kh and not the fd?

river - First off I think if he shoves Im folding, I know its super exploitable but in my experience at these stakes they always have the nuts if they bet big on river. My results in pots where I call a river bet seem to confirm this. But once he checks how can I not shove to put him to the test with a AhKxx type hand or a worse flush. If Im calling turn with KK9 no flush draw I think I should bluff shove this river. And if Im not shoving turn with AK with a heart blocker Im definitely shoving here.

When someone has 3bet of 7% this is definitely not just aces,so mandatory call i`ll say.

Flop seems fine,as well the turn.If he shoved river there can be arguments for folding, although still closer to call, but once he checks this is clear value shove.

Ok I feel better. This hand is the nadir of a bad downswing so I just wanna make sure Im not completely lost in this game.

Villain ended up having AhKcJc8h and timebanked b4 calling with the nuts, great guy who deserves a cooler like this. But what do people think about his checking river with the nuts after barrelling? I feel like its just missing so much value vs Jhi and Thi flushes I can have.

Based on your call/call line, villain likely puts you on a flush draw that got there and is planning to CR if you make a bet other than jam.

Given stack sizes, etc. he should still just be shipping this river himself no question.

Microstakes: Big river bets almost always the nuts. REGs still sit out on WPN PLO25 when fish leave?
