just wanted to say to vektor that if u only get it in 4 times a session, you're bound to experience swings of long duration, since it'll take longer for the variance to even out in all-in pots. especially if u play very tight (as you stated), you're not gonna make up for running bad in all-ins by picking up a lot of other pots either.

Time to see whether this crazy game is beatable or not, starting from scratch is the hardest part. Will post graphs if/when things start to get interesting. Tomorrow is a new beginning.
    then today this:

I prepped for a come back today and didn't win one buyin, last hand I flopped a wrap and a pair against rag aces and lost. It's just how I run.

I know I'm running bad, there's nothing really to discuss about it, when you are as patient as I am and you lose as many all ins as I do you'd know. I do appreciate the advice but I'm just at a breaking point where I can't win no matter what I have. It's not like I'll get it in good and win for a while then get tilted and lose it all. I haven't doubled up more than once in a row in a month while playing extremely disciplined poker. I've played terribly once in my life and that's when I was playing high stakes and blew it all against Galfond and Sahamies and ever since then I've run so atrociously bad I am beginning to lose my mind. Imagine nearly every hand you are ahead in you lose when you get all in and when you do get it in behind you never get lucky as in 0% suckout rate, the games become impossible to beat. I would love to post an ev graph but my pt3 doesn't work and I can't afford HEM, before my pt3 broke I was -4k EV. Don't get me wrong I am 100% aware that my story seems like bull**** so I don't really take offense to people ragging on me, but I need to vent somewhere. I agree that hand was played badly too. I'm just speaking the truth and yes I haven't played many hands because I can't build up a roll, I can not run at a neutral level long enough to build up one. I do appreciate some non-hateful advice though, and moreso appreciate someone listening to me vent because the last few months have been extremely rough. Imagine going from playing extremely well at the highest stakes to running ice cold at the lowest stakes, especially when I see substantially less talented players winning. I was 4-tabling against Galfond and bluffed him out of a 50k pot, now I can't win a 50$ hand.

I am in school for that guy who commented, just got a scholarship for a few thousand so that'll help a bunch.
attention whoring should be a bannable offense imo.

the way I see it, there are two likely scenarios:
    1. once upon a time you ran hotter than the sun, and now can't understand why you no longer run that good.
    2. you are just completely FOS.

    so which is it?

My mind is just blown at that post.. I mean, who writes something like "I was 4-tabling against Galfond and bluffed him out of a 50k pot, now I can't win a 50$ hand."

I'm not sure how to explain it, but someone writing that just nukes my brain. Not the "used to play high stakes, now I lose at micros" part, but the way it's written..

IF it's true, it seems like a omahaha heater play-on-3bi-roll-and-move-up thing from a losing micros player.

oh hi i guess we havent met. my names eskimo.

    allow me to introduce myself....

anyway, i read the rest of your post, but still havent seen you address why you believe your play is good and why you believe you have an edge. im not saying you dont have an edge, especially at 50plo, i just dont see proof of it and im not sure where the rational objective proof is that is making you believe it.

the fact that you sat with high stakes guys doesnt automatically make you a brilliant player.

Vektor, people are giving you good advice (in particular eskimo). I suggest that rather than get defensive you take it to heart and take a good look at yourself. I know criticism is hard to hear, but the ability to learn from it and not take it personally is key to success in life. I'm in your spot but I lost 170k to Galfond and Sahamies, I'll admit it stings pretty bad. If I ever get back to those stakes and beat them it would be the most miraculous come back in history.
How did you grind your roll? Did you use BR management? What are your obstacles now, expect than lose all your all-ins where you are favorite?

1.Why did you try to wipe the keyboard with the mouse?
2.Surely the keyboard needed washing and not the mouse?
3.Also was it a slice or a whole pizza?
4.What style kinda pizza we talking?
5.Did you still eat the pizza?
6a.Did it have keyboard fluff in it?

um... rb line over that sample:

yeah im definitely not complaining, its all good. just wanted to make a point that pretty much everyone runs bad at one point or another. (i still feel i ran far worse in lhe last year than i did over that plo sample, but unfortunately there is no way to prove it lol).

i mean its harsh to say, but losing 4 all in pots in a row, in fact losing 20 all in pots in a row, is completely standard and running $4k under aiev i wouldnt even say is running even a little bit bad, its basically neutral.

to put it in perspective, id bet someone like seaking sees that graph and lols and thinks to himself that he wishes he could run like me. i know another guy that ran 300 buyins under aiev in huplo over a couple of months, and he never bitched once, just keeps grinding and crushing, in fact im guessing he gets good action because people look at his ptr and underrate him
