thanks buddy, you're right.
not that i was tilting massively, but def also not my A-game.

i also received great help and advice via pm from a frequent 2p2 poster, many thanks for that.

after the break i'll start 3-4 tabling the games with no hud and play pure poker. i hate the statistics game. i will also stop looking at the cashier / session bottom line every damn 10 minutes. trying to get rid of loss aversion too, which has been a huge psychological barrier lately.

LOL, just finished a cool session. Wasn't doing great in the beginning, up like half a buyin but down 2.5 buyins in EV. Was about to end my session, already closed 2 tables, when I won like 3 big pots for 800bb total in like 10 hands. Feels good man

I had that problem before, my thought process went like "omg look, there goes more dollars, omg and more, better win them back right now!". Then I went to the other side of the spectrum and only looked at my cashier once a week, which led me to start guessing what it was. Sometimes I got pleasantly surprise, sometimes I didn't.

Now I check after almost every session, but never when I'm playing. I've found it works the best for me.

Whats the best omaha hand calculator people use? I swear my DB one is giving me dodgy %s

Also does anyone know how to seperate out 30-100 bb tables and 100-250 bb tables on pokertracker?

Sorry to hear about your bad run Napsus. You seem to be developing the right kind of attitude for life with your reaction to the ds and all the zen-type quotes and parables you've been posting in the past couple of weeks (really liked the one that ended with "Are you still carrying her? I put her down hours ago). Best of luck in the future man.

no worries buddy it's not so much about the money (even though it hurts of course) as it was realizing my own stupidity regarding many aspects of the game and my approach to it. psychological, risk management, my motives for playing etc...one of the stupidest things has been wanting to succeed so bad, that i created a lot of stress for myself when i dropped even a few bins. and then boasting about it to friends or on the forums. or stressing about ptr graph...that tops everything. now i need to play only for myself. i'm glad that poker gods finally put me in my place

i've always been huge fan of motivational quotes or stories like that. i can keep posting more of them when they fit a certain situation. from the past 5 years i have 2-3 notebooks of quotes or stories that i have written down.

i'm sure i'll see you at the tables pretty soon if you'll be playing plo100 or plo50 deep.

gl to you too., you seem to be on a nice upswing good times.

edit:
oh and my ptr looks like this, no excuses. mainly two levels, plo50 and plo100.

edit2: the last graph i posted obv included eurosites as well, where most of my action has been.

God I hate it when people hit random two outers before putting the small stack in they have left. I have TT on T99, let villain 2 barrel on me and on the river K he shoves and obv he has KK. Villain I've been 3betting a lot decides to 4bet me. I have 66 and flop comes A68sss. He bets small and I call, intending to call him down most of the time. Turn Q, check-check. River 8, he pots allin and I obv snap-call. He has QQ. I have QQ vs pf3bettor on a flop of QT4 and raise his cbet. He leaves himself 1/3 of a pot left for the turn A, which he shoves on, and shows AA...

**** allin ev...

Horrible session(s) today. Sometimes it really really feels like poker isn't for me. Too much pain.

I hate my mind so much. When I'm winning I'm like "meh. Ok.", when I'm loosing it sometimes, like now, feels like I've stabbed my heart.
Read somewhere that people had researched the pain/pleasure correlations and it was something like 2-1.

They should fix this, tilts me everytime it happens...
Well finally it wouldn't have changed anything if I shoved (maybe would have won UTG's money), only my EV-line would go up. But unfortunately you can't buy anything with your actual EV
