What Spurious said. And stop looking at the EV and focus on going over the hands. You'll have a better idea of how you're running and playing by doing that if you have any ability to separate your play from your results and evaluate honestly... and there's a better chance of improving than by looking at your EV. I know people have said that PokerEV and HEM seem to line up over big samples, but even over 50k+ hand samples, I've had some vastly different results between the two programs.

so i'm 12 BIs under EV in the last 4kish hands and losing lots and i dont know if thats a lot or not but its the first serious downswing ive felt in a while so im pist but i do think ive avoided tilting(for the most part, heh) at least.

hmm...i saw your videos a while ago, great stuff! you seriously don't have HEM or Poker tracker, you only take notes?

just asking because I've been thinking if i need the HEM at all. sometimes i look way too much at the stats and forget about "the real game"
