**** I hate the variance. After couple of years break from serious Poker I decided to give a try to really try to beat Omaha. Two weeks playing like crazy and calculating hands while sleeping. Few idiot calls while tilting and couple of desperate bluffs, but mostly really solid game. Results just kill me. Now I remember all too well how I hated this years ago.

Trying to build a bankroll slowly and bad luck hits especially on bigger limits. Now again almost broke and don't have roll to play and live from winnings. -60 buy-ins under EV within a month, what a start.

Just have to vent off.

BRM is the most important thing, especially when you are a professional. Until you learn that, it keeps happening over and over again. Just move down when you drop below certain point and get your **** together there. It's hard, but beats going busto or losing most of your roll while possibly making tilt-induced mistakes.
Downswings happen and so do upswings regardless of your playing ability.

smack is that all on stars? some sites only show the winning hand from an allin, so you'll always run under ev because you only see opp allin hand when you lose the hand (so you seemed to have 100% eq when you win the all-in, as opp mucks, but see real % when you lose cuz you see both hands).

i just don't believe someone can actually run 300 bi below in 100k hands.

I mean I ran 100+ bi under EV on stars over quite a few hands but running some sims it literally seems impossible to run that bad. Like, actually can't happen. So something's up but I don't know what

edit: stars graph (middle picture of above post) is reasonable though. The others aren't...

Why your std is sooo high - 380? Like there are a lot of shorties. Or is this hu? I think the second one because you have bigger then normal wr - 40 for 6 max.

Stars New Reward Structure

Simplified definition: there are no rewards

Description of the rewards system: you give us lots of rake, we give you chests

Reality of the rewards: you get 2-3%

Is this basically saying it's PokerMaster or PPP? Can't think of many sites that allow straddles outside of these two. Perhaps Highstakes.com?
