If en trylng build a roll around plo20 is it dumb to play hu instead of 6-max? Is the rake to much of a killer at these stakes hu? I have 50% rb. At what stake is it ok rake in hu?

Most players are fairly terrible at HU as their primary game of choice, even they don't want to admit it, but play quite competently and profitably at 6 max games. My thoughts would be to stick to 6 max games since the likelihood you run into soft competition is higher, than just playing against a single opponent.

I would have to think that the variance is lower in ring games, than HU. I know my personal experience playing PLO8 HU on ipoker back when they had decent traffic was an up and down roller coaster ride. Based on my 6 max stats I was actually pretty good at PLO8 compared to the competition at the time, but it didn't seem to translate to HU play.

Long story short, play where you have the biggest edge.
