I prefer raising to 56$ so you can reopen the action if BB shoves.

Yeah, it was a mistake from my side to not let BB put in a qualified raise there.

The remaining stack in question / 2 + the live bet is the largest amount you can raise to while still allowing the action to be reopened if that player decides to put the rest in. $56 is a random(?) amount between a min raise and that number.

    $67

    BB has $99.63 left

You raise to $67, $49.50 raise, which allows him to get it allin for $50.13 more and you can still come back over the top.

I'd rather read the stories and see hands from you flushing your bankroll at 2K HU.

Is this the right place to post about PLO win rates? I'm currently at almost 145k hands of PLO and winning almost exactly 65 cents per hand (almost all at 1/2).

Well my brag is that I've won almost $100k playing PLO over the past 9 months. I started with almost no PLO experience (maybe 20 live hours), and am definitely at the point where I'm much better at PLO than NLHE. All on PPPoker, almost all $1/2. I've learned that people are really, really bad at PLO.

    Seems especially true at Party

The $200 PLO8 games don't run often there, but when they do, wow I've seen some strange stuff and the PLO games were no different lol.

    Well done!

The great thing about PPPoker is that all the clubs are private. You need to know someone to get in. I think I would have a significantly worse win rate (in BBs/100) even at much lower/microstakes on Stars or another public site. I'd also have to tighten up considerably. I currently play about 45/30/7 in a six max game, and I usually have one of the lowest if not lowest VPIPs, and definitely the smallest difference between VPIP and PFR. I'd get eaten up by someone playing a very tight range, but that's rare in these clubs, and the few guys who do are easy to avoid.

PPPoker is an app. I don't think it has anything to do with party poker but don't really know.

People unaffiliated with the app form clubs and admit people. The app is played with coins and has nothing to do with cashing you in or out. Instead you buy coins from the founder of the relevant clubs. Cashing in or out is done with them via cash, venom, PayPal, coinbase etc. App rakes pots which goes to club owner. Basically it's a platform for people to run online poker clubs.

A lot of the poker clubs in NYC have started their own. If you run an underground game it's a natural extension since you know a lot of players and since those games already often run on credit so there's a baseline level of trust. For whatever reason in the 3 clubs I've deposited with almost all the action is PLO. Because the clubs aren't public, I suspect they're much softer than Stars and the like. I've never played but assume I couldn't beat 1/2 PLO on Stars for a very high win rate but I'm crushing in PPPoker over 145k hand for 32 bbs/100. Of course you take risk on getting paid

Risk of collusion also has to be rather high. Not saying cheating isnt going on at Stars and Party cuz it is. Also not saying cheating is going on in the clubs you play. But one should prolly be rather selective with what clubs one join and play in.

Yes collusion or card sharing is a real risk. My general view is not to Worry about it too much so long as I'm crushing. I am told some people have gotten kicked out of clubs for collusion and soft play

Apparently in HU, being a full on maniac pre (100% 3b, 250bb ai pre with T732ss) in conjunction with a standard OOP flop cbet size of 1/5 pot mostly followed up by a turn check works out really really bad. When you take away the 100% frequency mash pot cbet/barrel from the maniac the whole strategy kind of crumbles.
