What's up 2+2? I just had my first major run-in with PLO variance. I'm not here to cry over it though (PLO10, so whatevs). Definitely no wizard here, just tried PLO with some rudimentary understanding of the game, whereas I just used to donk around completely in 25zoom some years past while I was winning a bunch in NLHE live games.
Really what I want to say is: Damn. To be playing this game professionally you have to mentally be extremely tough and I respect anyone who can go through this kind of variance and come out both ahead and sane. Even though these are very small stakes, I couldn't believe this **** and felt like I was losing my mind at some points. Reading through this thread I've seen some graphs that are just mindboggling. How anyone can go through 200BI+ below-EV-stretches at serious stakes and not quit is beyond me. Huge respect.
Here is my graph: 53BI below over 25K hands trying to clear some 400$ deposit bonus. So at least some of the loss is rakeback.

Thanks to everyone contributing to this thread! It helps alot to put small run-bad like this into perspective! Needless to say I will be back playing some day, but for now I'm fed up with THE GREAT GAME.
