60k.

Made a deep run as well in that, but couldnt catch cards and runouts on day 2

I didnt really get any soft tables in the $27 and $215 PLO. $27 field is obviously soft, but the $215 was surprisingly "not soft" imho. Not saying good PLO players arent massively +ev. But compared to the field in the 215 NLO8 PKO which was ridic soft I had hoped for more. The $2100 seemed like a reg fest with lots of hi stakes end bosses and my guess is a lot of people who think they are +EV in that one are actually -EV.

Oink, you are a bit off on your assessment. The 2K field was like 60% MTT regs and recreationals, 20% bad regs, 15% decent regs, and 5% crushers. You probably fall into the category of players who think they would be -EV but would have been +EV. PLO8 and NLO8 are always going to be softer than PLO as there are little to no cash grinders at those games. The $215 field had nearly 2K runners... lol

@ Seaking

Haha, if the distribution you mention is correct, then yeah, Id be disappointed to be -EV. But I def got a different idea of the field by glancing over the field. But seeing as you actually played it and since you know the MTT regs better than I do, Im guessing you have a much better idea about the field strength.

Having a ****ing headache. This game is so nervewrecking. I start the session go up 200 very fast. Then I made some ultra dumb move preflop in a fivebet pot, flopped a huge hand though, lost on the river 150bb deep.

Got super tilted after that at my own play and the bad river runout, dropped to -300 in the process. Started playing Two tables HU Zoom. Jesus I just hit ****ing even and then im about to sit out. I get the mega suckout 200bb deep on the river. Went on super tilt cause I was just about to take a break and regather, obviously continued playing, dropped to -550 for the day. Switched back to 4x tables 6max Zoom PLO50 (i usually do 2).
I skyrocket to even, actually get 50 in plus.

Then last hand i have 9988, EP opens, I call in SB. Flop 9 2 2rb. I check he bets about 75%. I raise small. He calls. Turn Jhh. I pot to make it look like draw. He calls. River K. I pot, he calls, KKxx. This game man. So im almost exactly at even now. Small profit with Rake. Big price for a headache which will probably follow me the whole day. totally exhausted, have to eat and chill in the sun and forget poker for a day.

? whats unclear, I would play this hand the same way with 9xxx when I choose to bluff, and when i pick up equity on the turn with some flush or straight draw i obviously would continue and then bluff river on most runouts

Edit: I just checked. I didnt even pot it. I half potted it. Gets a bit cheaper on my drawing bluffs, well ye, doesnt matter anyway

Painful tho init. 3 Scoops in a row, to finish 30th 11th and 9th. Anyone who says that's in no way tilting just isn't being true to themselves.

It is, however, a good amount of money yes.
