Hi all,

10/10/25/25 plo5 (3 blinds with one utg straddle), 4-handed, hero is in the $25 blind with KJd9d98 and first to act makes it $125, we flat and straddle flats, we are approx. $4,000 eff. Preflop raiser and the straddle are both action players, quite loose.

Flop ($385): Td9s6d. We flop mid set, open ender, J-high fd. X to pfr, $300, hero x/r $1,200, folds to pfr who flats.

Turn ($2785): 8h. Spr is around 1. We didn't improve but we still have our open-ender and set and potentially fd.

You could have written out the information in this hand significantly better I have no idea who is sitting in any of the seats and which position actually raised pre, this game can't be 4 handed with you posting one of the $25 blinds/straddles and being able to x/r on the flop vs the PFR.

Your hand is the most obvious flop donk in the world and checking is a complete disaster. You want to be the one betting $300, not them.

The highest EV play is to try to fold out 87 that "slowplayed" and random J7 so use some speech play to tip your hand as QJ + extras. Say something like "I'm all-in, my freeroll has to be better."

Bet flop, our hand has huge equity and doesn’t want to check around. This board is only getting cbet by hands with decent equity. It will get checked back a lot. As played just spray and pray turn.

Fold pre, especially with the inflated possibility of a 3b from a player described as action.

Why is the straddle the same size as the biggest blind? Lol

I missed that it was 4 handed but wouldn’t that mean sb would be first to act and therefore pfr?

I mean, I’m not a PLO5 scientist, but we have middle set on a straight board with a Kfd, why exactly are we check raising? Is the plan for opponent to have the opposite of whatever we have so at least part of our hand is good?

[ ] Position
[X] Check raise for rollz

I x flop because this V bets too often, I was pretty sure I would be able to raise. Sorry for the post, it is a confusing blind structure.
