Sometimes I think you're just making hands up with the amount of pocket quads hands you get dealt. Like seriously, how hot can one man run.

PLO mtts, especially the hi/lo ones are easily the softest mtts on poekrstars, a 50% roi is not actually that decent, its solid but by no means 'awesome'.

There are tips and things you can do to make it maybe suck less but I think it's almost always gonna sting and suck. I've put many hours into working on my mental game and even at the best of times whenever that happens I feel that pang on the inside.

One overall tip to help with not only this situation but any situation where you lose money and don't feel great is to work to align your emotions with your level of play rather than your results. The ultimate goal is to have it be that the results are fairly meaningless (especially in the super short term like one session is) and they shouldn't affect your mental or emotional state. Instead you should focus on whether you played well or not. For example if you have a +20 buyin session but think you played TERRIBLY and just ran really really hot, you'll not feel too great with yourself. Conversely if you have a -20 buyin session, or a session where you're +35 buyins and finish up only +7 buyins but are absolutely confident that you played really great poker, then you can walk away feeling happy and with your head held high.

It's hard to do, but I think worthwhile investing in trying to get to such a place. I found rating your level of play in a spreadsheet after each session to be really helpful, whether it's on a 1-10 scale or ABCD scale. That way if you had a losing session or one like yours but played well you can still feel happy that you get to put a "9/10" or "A-game" rating into your spreadsheet.

I was referring to the fact that a recreational regular is doing very well playing micro-low buyin PLO MTTs as being awesome. Cause it is

Talking about a 50% roi being "not actually that decent" seems a little silly in the context.

That's great to hear from a pro. My overal PLOmtt ROI is 34.5% and this year it's 74.5%.
A while back GGARJ asked me to make a cardrunners video on PLOmtt but we didn't get to that yet.
There are several reasons I'm stuck in the micro's, ill be answering that in a longer post soon.

Oh, yea, forgot about that for a while!

I think there would def be demand for small stakes PLO MTTs, we should revisit the idea soon

Yo I just lost half my roll shot-taking PLO50. I think I need a new method of shot-taking with reduced tables and a stoploss or something cuz this is ridiculous...

PLO50 was after hand 8k, tilty -38BI session at the end of the week

Back to PLO25 I go! Now I'm gonna get ****ing smashed...

Because of them most rec get to know how to professionally hunt fish down and this reduces fish population massivly.
By teaching others how to fish effiziently and avoid looking like a fish they also get a cut from the fisshing from the guys they teach fishing.

If you look at the structure, this is like a secured job with secured paiyment for teaching others risky stuff to earn monies. If there werent those guys we would be able to beat the games easily. Even shimpanzee could play nuts and beat the games longterm.

You american have the best court system, just bring them to court and try to get compensation.
