.30/.60, 6 max, 4 card PokerBros (Diamond Club)

Table's playing really passive, so I decide to make a loose min-open utg with Qd8d8s3s. CO, SB, and BB call.

SB and BB have been playing every hand. CO is decent player for this stakes. He has $64.44 and I cover.

Flop ($4.80): 8c7h4c, checks to CO who bets $3.20. Blinds fold, hero calls.

Turn ($11.20): 7c - check check

River ($11.20): Tc - H leads for pot, CO raises pot, H folds

Sort of new to Omaha, so my feeling is he can't do this with anything but 5c6c, Jc9c, 7d7s, or if he somehow backed into tens full. Is this just a snap fold or am I being a nit here?

fold pre. pretty bad open, especially in a high rake structure. That hand is burning money.
as played, fold is good imo. He´s repping better than your hand, its an underbluffed spot, and you dont block any of the key cards that you mention

Don't play this pre-flop and don't min-raise. You are not going to be min-raising correctly, if it is ever correct to do so, which I don't think it is.

There are so many hands to play in Omaha you should never feel desperate enough to paly this trash.

FWIW, I think this is a call on the river. It's likely we are indifferent here, which I guess means people don't bluff enough and you should fold. /shrug

Its a nitty fold. I lean call. You should also remove and discount some hands from villain range - he should have not have 56cc. He can 87, t7 and may have some bluffs (hero unblocks lots of bluff candidates).

Nitty folds can be fine certain stakes/games but from a theoretical standpoint folding is a clear error.

Changed my mind: sigh-call.

JTT9 seems likely for villain, which explains his bet-check-bet pattern.

But there is enough J9, T7, 78, & AXcc in his range because he could think he is betting for value.

When you do not bet the turn, your hand becomes underrepped.

I call, and expect to see 7t or 78 fairly often.

A lot more combos of those than TT
