Read: Villain is shaping up to be a splashy/active player but nothing specific yet
Effective stack: 100bb
Villain opens from HJ to 3.5bb, Hero at btn 3bets with A

to 11.5bb, Villian calls.

Flop: J

Should hero bet/fold,bet/call,or check back? what is the correct sizing if hero does cbet?

probably a noob question cause hero is a PLO newbie

I think bet/fold is most standard. Normally 1/2 to 2/3 psb.

If our club redraw was to the ace instead of king we can check more.

checkback isn't bad here though - its fine if you want to mix or just decide case by case depending on the opponent - against xr happy opponents we are quite content to check
