I think you can mix in limp/calling and raising pre with bad ds low-PP (22-JJ)
as played here it's a call after 3bet from BB
and with your SPR it's a stack off OTF
btw why not 100BB at the start of the hand?

Well played.
Got any reads on BTNs aggression? Might he bet some aces that won't call on river?
I think we are ahead almost always after villain checks behind on flop.
Losing to some A33x but not many combos and these hands aren't raising a bet. Sizing down to open up villain's calling range is good. It's hard to comment on this since we can see that he folded to 55%. If you had bet 70% I'd be saying size down to 55%

Could that balance out the times that he 3b with a hand that likes this run out?

I dont see a problem here. And if he had Q7 there you still have outs. Hes alsoraising with a bunch of weaker Qs

I would cbet smaller on the flop. There are no draws. After villain raises I would just call.

Just started dabbling in live PLO simply because the games here are soooo good. I won’t bore w all the details but I’ve been buying in 40bb’s and trying to spin up a stack. I found myself all in pre w this stack holding As8d7s6d 5-ways last night is this bad or standard? For what it’s worth 2 of the 4 villians in this hand are completely brain dead and could literally have anything.

definitely not the goal to stack off with A876, only permissible if they kept back raising each other

You can definitely print in those multiway situations if you can maneuver it so that the bigger stacks are isolating you and creating dead money in the middle or when they are betting one another out of the hand so that your chance of winning the pot increases and a competing villain gives up their share of equity.

I'd recommend not thinking of it as "trying to spin up a stack".

I buy in for 40bb as a rule myself these days, but only because people often make their biggest (at least, loosest) mistakes on early streets and it can be hard to decipher folks' wide, idiosyncratic ranges on later streets when they're VPIPing so high. I'd prefer to be guessing in big pots less often.

If you're buying in for 40bb, you also need to know when and how to change gears if you do "spin up a stack" (unless you're just going to hit and run, which, hey: it's up to you).

This is harder than it sounds. 100bb PLO is very different from 40bb PLO (not to mention 200bb+ PLO, which is pretty common in live games in my experience).

As to your question, it kind of depends on the action. It's not especially likely that you're making a huge mistake in that situation, but it's also not really the best spot in these kinds of games.
