It depends on your own OOP 3betting range. If it's narrow (AA-heavy), barrelling isn't fun without A and I'm inclined to c/f. If it's wide enough, you can rep QJ+A/K/T/9/8 well (or a flushdraw in case it closes ) and I find it a good texture for triple barrelling (folding to his raises obv).
Pot preflop and on the turn, otherwise wp (pricesetting the river is good).
Fold to his raise - minraises usually mean trips+ at the micros - otherwise wp.

Hand 1 - check back flop and look to spike. We can bet Turn if V checks and also bluff 7 and 8 with our blockers and a FD for back up if we get called.

As played I'm folding now. If you flat it's still going in on the turn. The only card that helps is a club and I wouldn't be happy to get it in if V continues.

You can try calling and donking dry flops to see how he reacts.

If the 3d were a K, T or 9 of spades, I might 3B.

Ask yourself why you're 3 betting. Guy sounds like a station so you're going to have to barrel like crazy to get a fold.

I'm not 3-Betting this, I just wondered if somebody is 3-Betting this, because it is a favourite against his calling range.
I don't think it plays that well and when I get it in on the flop I am rarely dominating my opponent unless I have a set. Thanks for your input.

You might be a favourite pre but if you are it's not by much. The problem is this hand flops really badly and you'll have no clue where you are post flop oop.

Pairs play well in multiway pots. HU oop in bloated pots = really unfun times.



p.s also helps when they have good side cards like 9TJJ or TJQQ etc

Never sure what I should do in these situations. Board is pretty dry. If I bet I think I am almost always priced in to call off, am I not?

4way check re-evaluate. Mostly folding. Don't like 3betting OOP when you're likely to go 4ways and you don't have a suit.
