Question on PLO2 zoom at pokerstars

Hi guys,
Playing PLO and absolutely loving it, I have a question though.
I'm seeing alot more trappy play compared to NLHE but on about ten occasions over the last month I've seen villains checking back the nuts in position? just wanted to ask what is going on with this?
Do they actually not realise they have the nuts? This has all happened with nut straights and nut flushes on unpaired boards.
Still learning about PLO so would appreciate any responses thanks
