SPR dependent. If you open to 3.5 and he makes it 12 and you call. There are around 25bb in the pot, so you have a SPR of 1.5. I think this is probably a GII spot but remember that good SS players can eat you alive with TT-KK ds and ss hands. Find out quick which know what they are doing and which ones are giving it away or gambling.

Im gii as played, prefer to 4! Or fold pre-flop vs a shorter stack.

Both pre-flop and flop seem close, though i'm not sure villain should be potting this texture.

The short stacker will obviously have very few 4's in his range. What isn't obvious to some is that the short stacker will have a lot of AKxx's in his range. AKxx makes up a huge portion of the single suited hands he would 3 bet. And given the more ways you can make a single suited hand versus a double suited hand means his single hands with AK are a big part of his range. Couple him having a King in his single suited hands with the many times he has a King in his double suited hands and you are ahead.

Short stackers might bet a flop of 448/rb 100% of the time. You have to defend enough. You having AAxx or KKxx is a big advantage for you because of his 3-betting range having a lot of double suited and most importantly single suited AKxx hands. If he is a world class short stacker he probably bets 100% pot with two backdoor flush draws and 33% pot with 0-1 backdoor flush draws. Since he bet 100% pot, my guess is he has Ace-Broadway-x-x with two backdoor flush draws.

If I had to pull a guesstimate out of my butt, I would guess you are at least a 55% favorite. Get it in on the flop.

while we 4b most of our KKds this hands these sidecards are too low and disconnected so its just a call.

and yes, on flop, shorty villain will bet almost all his hands here (90%++) and will mostly choose a small sizing like 1/3. he has some pot bets though, which will be some AA,AKK,KK,AQQ,AJJ and air with backdoors (-blockers) or an 8 with 2-3 overcards.

but since hes betting almost all his hands our KK hands are still doing good in general. so at this SPR it doesnt matter that much if hes betting 1/3 or pot because there are a decent amount of hands in his pot bet range we still beat with KK. we should get it in no matter the size he bets with pretty much all our KKxx hands.

hands we only call are hands that hold a 4 or inside straight outs maybe or double paired hands like KK66 which are hoping to boat up. we really dont have much of a calling range here with KK.
