nlhe guy who's been playing some 0.1/0.2 pokerbros and been running really well on it

never really played any live plo, for those who play on pokerbros, how would you say the quality of games/players compares? With a lot of these players, I wonder how they're able to tie their own shoes in the morning

i know plo variance is a *****, etc., but if the action is anything like this in live games/higher stakes pokerbros games, I've really been wasting my energy with nlhe

the game play on iggy is just slow as ****. i was playing plo on iggy back in 2016 but switched back to zone nl cause of the ridiculously slow play on normal tables. i played up to $100 plo in 2016 and games were pretty good but I think pb's better and i assume iggy's gotten at least a touch tougher.

tl;dr: pb softer, games faster, software better

ty. any idea of how much "theory" you need to know to beat something like 100plo on pb? the consensus is that you kinda need to be a gto wizard to beat 200nlz on iggy, and that sounds like a miserable way to make like $25/hr. these people are just throwing money at me at 20plo

I think I know a decent amount of plo knowledge, but I play like a weak-tight reg on 20plo because all the flops are multiway and everyone will pay you off anyway

I haven't played but maybe 5k hands of 4c on PB because I play 5c/6c but I was playing $100 4c and games are super soft there. Anyone who has a reasonable foundation of PLO knowledge should be able to turn out at least a few bb/100 there.

Small stakes PLO on almost all sites is super soft. The rake is pretty high but the multiway nature of the game helps offset it.

The low-stakes 4c plo on bros is really one of a kind, much much easier than the live format or the offshore poker clients. I didn't really start to see any decent regs on bros until i got up to the 50/1 games, and still not enough of them to be significant. It's really 1/2 and up that you will be playing with a lot more competent players but if you do a good job game-selecting you can still find some extremely soft lineups. There are just so many advantages to playing in these soft club games over the live casino format. Finding soft plo games in the casino is not difficult but variance can be really rough due to the amount of hands you can play an hour. If you have a high wr on the 10c/20c club games over a decent sample then i would expect a similar result at 25c/50c and 30c/60c
