I use a different app. but I guess it's roughly the same ... games are all private/invite-only, where only a single table runs, so how good it is depends entirely on what you have access to.
Money is transferred via. paypal/venmo/etc. to the game runners, and even with a small group you start running into limits (Eg. there's a 5k a week venmo limit). A decent number of people in the game know each other personally. Can't imagine 2+2 would be a good place to find invites.
