Hey guys. I'm playing on PPPoker, field is extremely weak
Forgot to change the topic name: it is PLO 5 cards.
Player A has around $195 and my read is that he tends to overplay hands in PLO5, like getting in with two pairs no redraw 100bb. He is on the button.
Player B has around $130 and he is a decent player, actually the only decent player with 50% vpip and 10% pf. He is on the BB.
I have around $278.
I have AJ987 with 1 suit: hearts. and I'm on the SB.
Someone pots to $2.1 pre, 4 callers.
Flop is 657 with 2 spades, no hearts. I have the nuts 89, and gutter if I hit a T.
I check, BB pots $8,40, CO calls, button pots to $42, I call $42, BB pots to $127.50 Button shoves $192.69. If I call the pot is gonna be $529.68
Okay, well first of all a ten does not give you a higher straight, although it would open up a redraw going into the river.
Secondly, it's a fold when it goes pot pot after you check. You are always going to be freerolled here and there isn't enough in the pot to justify whaling away with just the nuts.
Having called off 70 bbs you can probably go ahead and stack off now.
So he has backdoor higher straight on 2 tone board?I m sceptic how valuable is this in a 5way pot 5c plo.Anyway looks like trivial fold after btn repotted.
After calling the 42 raise, it is a clear call given description of button.
Keep in mind that main pot = around 490 (3x130) and side pot = 130 (2x65) which is sizeable enough to offset the loss of equity due to us possibly getting freerolled.
With these stacks this can never be a fold against a player who "tends to overplay hands in PLO5, like getting in with two pairs no redraw 100bb".
