How much?

Villain is very loose pre (85 vpip, 14, 8) but fairly reasonableish post.

I think he had 30.70 behind, so I could bet anything from a tenner hoping for a crying call with two pair (maybe KT with the spade draw?) to going full pot trying to sell I myself missed spades but risk getting only called by same straight or even snapped off by lucky JQ that backed into the nuts...

What if we bet a tenner and get raised? I mean if I bet 20 I'll call it off while hating myself. But I feel if I bet/fold a tenner I should have taken the check behind and just admit outright to not having balls!

So yeah... what is the hive mind thinking?

You block QJ just jam. He’s not folding a set or flopped understraight

intersting hand OP

UTG limps in, double barrels, and calls off a big raise on the turn. after that turn call i think he is being fairly 'honest' about his range, he arrives at the river with a strong range and decides to check, which could mean that he is afraid you have hit a straight of some kind

your hand does have nice blocking properties. i think we can eliminate the strongest overpairs from his range because he limped in.

its possible he takes this line with a flopped or turned set, a low straight(maybe with a missed spade draw). against this range your hand is likely beat, and i think your best option is to rip it in on the river

I think 1/2 pot and call it off... After raising turn your hand looks strong imo. We want a call/jam with a lower straight

Why aren't you isolating pre? Imo this should to be a fold otf given its 4way
