Villian was 22/14 over 200hands
-Fold preflop?
-Better to check/call flop?
-On turn I made the str8. I put villian on 7xxx with some overcards.
Do you like my play here?

    fold pre
as played, I think I would donk flop to maybe get a call from flush draw or overpair. check/raise is overrepping your hand IMO. turn I would check (if the donk bet wouldn't get raised).

Another example of people losing whole stack when they are not supposed to be in the hand. When you have 2789ss 4way pot and worst position chances are you unlikely going to profit there. As played agree that reraising is overrapping your hand and to be honest no idea what to do on turn. Potting and praying you are not dead is probably better than folding.

that was exact what I was thinking on the turn ..I thought with my str8 I should be in good shape here some of the times.
If I put villian on A7xx with some clubs here, I am still good..
If villian is calling our raise on flop with hands which still drawing to better full house, hands like 79TJ..I am still in good shape here.

Fold pre, call flop.. He bet $4.20 man.

Villain is presumably playing tight ranges pre, and he's betting out into a 4 way pot. We can assume we have no fold equity and we're not pushing any equity vs his range, we probably have a little over 35% in this spot.

We remove the option to make some very good turn/river decisions when we pot flop, and that's probably the best thing our hand has going for it.

Fold this hand pre, it plays very poorly multi way with 3 players in and the BB very likely to come along as well. Flush draws will be dominated, the 2 really hurts the value of your run down etc.

For those suggesting a donk SB flatting range in this spot is usually pretty tight given you're OOP so donking this flop isnt good because you're going to whiff this board too much and it's hard to balance your trips+ with some bluffs because the pot is 4 ways and you don't even want to be bluffing here much at all.

As played prefer to X/C protects your calling range when you have weaker hands like dry straight draws which prevents you from being multi-street bluffed and gets you a lot of free rivers when you do have those weaker hands.
