We're in a bad situation against many hands, 2pairs, sets, etc... Its multiway, which is still worse...
Shove is still an option?

BB ($2.02)

You are wrong about being in a bad shape against a whole number of hands. Against sets you have 33% equity. Against two pair it is more or less a coinflip. And there are a number of hands that you crush - like wraps, wraps + FD etc. And you are 60-65% against pair+FD type of hands.

Folding here is lighting money on fire.

Like regen said, you will have about 33% equity vs sets, against a more reasonable range you will have something like 43% while ~40.5% would be enough for you to stack off safely

This is a relatively close spot, all things considered, but ultimately folding is not recommended

I don't have a strong feeling on whether calling or jamming is better, calling does allow hero to fold awful cards like a k

Relatively close spot? This is slam dunk shove.

Viagem you definitely need to start using pro poker tools simulations.

Why would you be in bad shape against 2pair hand? Why would multiway 3way

all in would be much worse?

With this much dead money you need 40%,and even against top set you have 32%.Agaisnst top 2 it`s a flip, and you re crushing all combo draws with 1pair

and flushdraw. You ca not stack off in 3bet pot only when you flop top set.

edit:I just saw ReGen wrote the same before me,anyway repeating is good for learning.

My point was its close to break-even if we assign villain a more conservative range and assume the action will be hu.

Though that mostly ignores the potential of action behind, which generally only increases our +ev. Really even if we need 40.5% initial equity (something I think we might not acheive vs tight players / good pros) we can shade that a few points to account for the potential of multiway action.

I generally agree with you,but considering this is plo10 on stars trust me
