don't really like the betsizings (too big) but other than that it's well played imo.

    also, slightly offtopic but:

Not opposed to the turn bet, given that it was pretty unlikely, though it happened on this hand, that the 4 helped him. Though a pot control check is acceptable here, I don't like losing the betting lead.

Yeah betting and checking here seen both fine, there's still lots of hands to protect against although having Ad in our hand isn't great for us, blocking flush draw combos (i.e. worse hands) villain can call with.

Right. Importantly, the 4 rates not to improve villain's hand and we pick up a few outs if villain is trapping with 2 pair on the flop.

if we are up against two pair we lose one out if we pair our 4, right

    I don't understand!
you're willing to play big pot out of positon with an overpair (+ gutshot "lol"), on this wet/high cards board wtf. what the plan on river, on any j q, diamond, t, k, 9, 8, any blank, even an A, we'll be in a very tough bluff catching spot if he bets.

let him float us an give up turn.

Hum didn't see btn was 50bb short. but still think this is a mistake to barrel with naked overpair.

Building a huge pot with a hand that rarely holds up vs. continuing ranges is worse than not betting for protection

You can get maybe one street of value here on specific run0uts and that street should be the turn
