Well balanced reg. On this turn I really didn't know if betting or checking is better. When he calls the flop he can call with a lot worse hands like over pairs and draws but on this turn card we do block him having a straight and some boats. I am not sure if I should bet. I don't know what worse hands is calling a double barrel here.

Is it crazy to check this turn and let him realize his equity or should we still bet with a strong hand and lot of draw equity? It seems like he gets to play us perfectly if we bet. Worse folds and better will probably raise. But it still really strong hand. So we do bet and try to get him to call with worse maybe a back door flush draw or do we check and try induce some bluffs?

I'd bet I still think plenty of worse hands call and he folds here a lot too so we can win the pot now

what worse hands will call here? Even a flush draw has a hard time here cause the board is paired. Over pair will have a tough call as well. I don't see many hands calling that is not beating trip 8s

Villain probably doesn't have a 7 or an 8 here based on Hero's hand and the flop, so he doesn't have a straight draw. I don't think he would call a bet here. The best hand he can have is an overpair to the board, so he doesn't have many outs to improve either.

I'm bet calling turn here considering the higher FH outs & Straight Flush redraw and revaluating on river. He may have 66 here but if hes balanced hes probably check calling it down if not blasting turn

Bet, but bet small. If he raises of course you have to fold as you have 5 outs vs. a boat/better 8/straight

I don't think many straights and naked 8s raise as well

Bet, I just don't see checking creating a lot of value for hero on river, it is still relatively vulerable

Raise is always a full house here imo, but sometimes it's an 8 with a better flush draw

I would call with a Q+flush draw, straight, 8x, and maybe AA and KK.

Plenty of hands can call on turn that you're beating, and you could also get hands that may have you beat by river to fold (flush draws that get there).
