Ok, so what hands are in your checking range?
I think I'd rather lead with some AAss, but I don't mind checking everything.
cheers for reply illiterat, still a bit confusing though
ok his 3bet range might not interact with this flop well, but his actual hand does so why does this matter in this kind of hand, I can see how this can matter when you are bluffing but when you have an actual hand what does it matter?
it should be behind buttons range but in the actual hand we flop well. don't we play our actual cards not just a range?
yeah hero might have a lot of marginal hands in his range that need to check and see a turn but again his actual hand doesn't necessarily?
the hands in my checking range here would be my very strong hands eg when I have the nuts here or close to it, and a turn isn't going to affect me having pretty much the best hand. hands like 59KKss or the best straight, 9TAAss ( the very best hands kinda), pretty much slow playing.
the other hands in my checking range would be all the hands I am willing to check fold.
With this hand it would be almost strong enough for me to class as one of these hands to check with close to the nuts but it is not quite strong enough and I am drawing so I would bet/ get it in, I would have thought if I am checking here it is to induce as I am not folding and may get a little extra in the pot from making someone bet fold or something
can't seem to get my head around this idea
