Felt this was a tough one - but ultimately folded because I had a player behind and I had the Ah - felt like the only thing I beat here was a high end run down with hearts and felt I was probably 50% at best.

Normally I would of just jammed if he checked to me with a SPR of 1 - should I of changed my strategy?

You don't need to be that worried about the player behind when the SPR is 1.

It's unlikely he's super strong if he realises you have AA a lot and are jamming when checked to you. Most probably (given his betsizing) he has some sort of Qxxx with middling hearts that is happy to GII vs your AA but probably isn't too keen to get it in against the SB.

Against that type of hand you have 43% equity and more than enough. If he has a Q too, it's unlikely SB can have QQ so really you shouldn't be that afraid of what SB could have.

Never folding this. Yes, you might not have 50 % but you only need 30 %. It's super hard to connect to this flop.

I feel like this bet sizing indicates strength but you're not deep enough to care enough.

You even have nbdfd this time for real!

shove, pretty hard to connect with that board if he's 3betting reasonable hands MP vs UTG. also spr is close to 1.

Nah I would too if it was checked to me, with over pair and nfd blocker backdoor nut flush and that specific board texture I'll push it here, way harder the way the hand was played but my money is probably going in here either way

If he's superstrong here and given the board texture he would probably check to 4better top set would check here most likely.

He clearly sigh call your all in and is most of the time behind you just need to dodge a heart

There is a good chance he checks a really strong hand like a set, or even something like top pair + flush draw, because with an SPR of one you are almost always going to be betting here, unless you completely whiffed with like JT98, so by checking a strong hand he almost always traps you and often traps the other guy who is forced to gamble liberally on account of the low spr. Most likely he has something that has to stack off but would prefer to just take the pot down.

never 4 bet to fold flop. goal is to commit yourself preflop so you can call of literally any flop.

the only way you can get away from this is if he shows you queens(or another set). that is the only acceptable reason to fold

You need a very very strong read to fold this. If you fold this as a default play then I would think that is a mistake due to the size of the pot.
