We need to be good a small amount of time on the river here, but are we ever good often enough?

Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #37932216

    Hero (BTN): $46.50 (465 bb)
    SB: $17.83 (178.3 bb)
    BB: $10 (100 bb)
    UTG: $9.85 (98.5 bb)
    MP: $9.34 (93.4 bb)
    CO: $12.09 (120.9 bb)

    Preflop: Hero is BTN with 9 Q T K
UTG raises to $0.30, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.05, SB folds, BB calls $0.95, UTG calls $0.75

    Flop: ($3.20) 8 4 2 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $1, BB folds, UTG calls $1

I have been experimenting with smaller c-bets (but at a high frequency) lately, with mixed results.

    Turn: ($5.20) J (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $3, UTG calls $3

I feel that this is a must-bet turn card, since my hand just turned into a monster draw. What about turn sizing? Is it worth betting smaller (something like 2 USD?) to keep the stack size a bit closer to pot on the river if called? Of course, I bet with the intention of calling any shove.

    River: ($11.20) 7 (2 players)
UTG bets $4.80 and is all-in

Are we ever good often enough here? Pot odds are great but barring some random spaz or some messed up slowplay of 88xx, it sure smells like a flush.

I think I wouldn't bet flop 3-way. but if you do, small sizing is good.

I feel like turn bet is mandatory, even if you get raised you have the odds to call.

river is a fold IMO. you need to be good 23% of the time, which we won't be. you don't block any clubs and even if you did, your smaller sizings on earlier streets wouldn't chase flush draws away, so just fold.

Don't like flop, turn is standard and river i'm probably folding. We don't block clubs and this board is so scary that sets/2ps and stuff like that would've piled earlier. Against avg zoom rec it's a fold.

Don`t like either flop or turn. When we turn big draw we are still not favorite and there is

almost no fold equity when 2 players called.River is standard fold imo.

Call Pre, check-fold Flop, bet-call Turn, fold River.

Virtually nothing missed OTR. Also doubt villain is going to find some combos to bluff with here for <1/2 pot shove

Pot the turn. "Keeping the pot closer to a PSB on the river" is an arbitrary goal that doesn't have much to do with correct bet sizing in most spots.

Let's assume villain shoves any str8 and any clubs, and given flop/turn action has all of them on the river (probably more true for cc than the str8s but w/e) ... then we'll add in 88 for random plo10 spew:

    Hint: 15.7% < 23%

Bigger hint: As UTG pre. range goes down, so does your river equity.
