Good evening,

I didn't have too much history with this opponent, but had noticed he was playing in a LAG style.
Do you think I could have shove the turn? And what about the river, could I find a fold here?

Calling good but not great aces over 300bb deep oop is fine.You have very strong hand on flop,but still you re too deep to be shoving here.3bet can be fine,but if he 4bet it would be

really awkward.I think your play was fine here and i am not folding this river.

No 4b pre disguises your hand which is fine when you're deep. V is a maniac based on stats and stack size so I can't see him betting anything but a wrap which turned into a FH at these stakes. You're only blocking 88xx and one str8 flush.

V is not checking river and your decision to
call his 3b and c/c both flop&turn says you have high cards w/a FD.

Because of V stats an fact you hold Ac I would fold turn and find another table since you lack position on this player.

BTN stats show him playing like a maniac (although now that I look at it, his 3b is not that high, more just his vpip is way out of line).

We hold strong draws and aggressive Villains will often go for it all the way on runouts that complete draws. Thus, I think we get paid a good amt on average when we improve.

yeah I'm not liking the situation on river, but I can't see folding given V's stats and Hero blocking V's most likely boat (by far).

idk, it's nasty, I agree ppl show up with the goods too much.

I can't imagine how we do anything but pay this one off. We only lose to boats (we block the SF) and we have the top boat blocker. If he somehow has it on this board, God bless. There's not a lot of boats to be made from the top 7% or so of starting hands here, especially when you have an 8.

For reasons alluded to in thread, I'd actually rather call down here w/ like KK85 w/ K5cc. Once he sizes this way on the river, I expect no flushes in his range (so I'd rather him have like AcKJ8).
