Been 8 years or so since I played online. Gave NLH a shot and found the games wayyyyyyyyy tougher than back in the day. Decided to give PLO a try and the games seem much softer.

I'm learning so sorry in advance if these are standard.

Hand 1:

1.1: Is preflop standard?
1.2: Does anything change on the turn if I'm 300 or 400 bets deep?

hand 1 fold pre
hand 2 also. cold calling a 3bet with a hand like this when you didn't put any money into the pot before is not a good idea.

Hand 1 3bet utg maniac but call is ok.Don`t agree with folding.

Flop and Turn standard.

Hand 2 with 4dangler is not something you want to cold cal 3bets.

As played very good check on flop, turn is insta shove all in imo.

Both hands are probably folds pre Hand 2 is really good but not facing utg raise and mp 3b. I guess you could cold4b for lulz. If the 4 was an 8 or above calling the 3b is more fine.

I'd fold both hands too.

Hand 1 is too loose to call players who are opening in early positions. Starting hands are everything in PLO, that and position. You are likely to get dominated with your hand vs early openers.

If I am in late position I'll open your hand, like cut off or button, even open in the SB is fine. I might call on the button if the player opens form the cut off and is a terrible fish that I want to play pots with.

Hand 2 is too loose again. Your hand looks pretty, as do many plo hands but like I said starting hands are crucial to winning at plo.

Again look at the positions and the fact that your hand is likely going to end up multiway in a 3bet pot or even worse the utg opener 4bet jams his hand, now you have to fold after calling 11.5bb.

Your hand plays ok in single raised pots and vs 3 or heads up, the reason for this is that your flushes are non nut flushes, you need to be extra careful in PLO with flushes that are not the nuts. Especially multiway, there will almost always be somebody in there that is playing the A high flush, you will get stacked everytime this way.

Keep that in mind, that's why every book, video out there suggests YOU play the A high flushes, especially multiway.

You said you were new to plo, I suggest heading over to Deuces Cracked and watch some of their PLO content. Vanessa Selbst has a great beginner series, as do a few others. Watch those theory videos, then once finished with the theory, watch the videos series of them playing the game.

But if you want to get good, you need a solid theory, why you are doing this and not that. Why you are opening this, when and vs who!

Hand 1 is a top 12% hand 6max. If you 3bet that you´re 3betting too much and also are very high card heavy. Fine flat against a way too loose opener.
Size smaller postflop, although thinking about it might be fine. Your 5way after all. as played standard call against his shove.

Hand 2 clear fold pre.
