Agree.

Kind of weird line from utg in general, as hero will bet most overpairs on this texture, letting him xr his best hands at high frequency. I would be a little worried about him taking this line with aaxx, but can't conclude that without some supporting reads.

I think hero should probably just rip flop. We have a lot of useful blockers in hand that improve equity against the type of combos that semi-bluff donk. (Jxxx, nut flush draw)

There is room for different lines here in a tournament but if hero thinks folding this turn is correct, he should take a different line on previous streets.

Re: PLO $109 to $1,050 Sat

Peeled flop w intention of making T call.
I was calling any non spade/J turn shove... intent was to realize some equity with pos before shoving, 1/5 bet T if he checks flush card and rip alot of blanks.

Turn: (39 BB, 2 players) 8
UTG bets 25.36 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 25.36 BB

River: (89.72 BB, 2 players) 9

UTG shows A 8 J 7 (Two Pair, Jacks and Eights)
(Pre 35%, Flop 40%, Turn 80%)
Hero shows A K K 9 (One Pair, Kings)
(Pre 65%, Flop 60%, Turn 20%)
UTG wins 89.72 BB

blocker play, very sophisticated.

villain's play here seems a little out of line. Apparently AJ87 with an eight high suit is an open from MP on 50 bb, though rainbow is a fold. And certainly having opened the AJ87 I think we need to fold to hero's three bet.
