To play 4 card holdem or 2 card holdem? To play 4 card holdem or 2 card holdem?

Hello everybody,

I just registered a few days ago and I am wondering for months now to play PLO or not. I have been playing almost exclusively NLHE 6-max and some HU NLHE for almost 3 years now. PLO seems a lot of fun and played it online a couple times. It looks like a fun, swingy and even way more complex than NLHE.
Would it be smart to switch to PLO or focus completely on NLHE or a mixture of both? Any tips/advice/help I highly appreciate

I think I am gonna play PLO
it seems that although rake is probably higher there is more value in learning and playing PLO
next 4 weeks I am gonna use to study PLO and will start in the beginning of january next year playing PLO25 6-max which I hope is beatable with the rake
I am gonna also buy a hud (HM2 cuz PT4 does not support the site im playing on) and starting posting hands I played in the ssplo section
Probably smarter to focus exclusively on PLO for the sake of learning

No problem with learning both games. Despite both games being similar in rules, both games are vastly different but with that being said you'd be surprised how many ideas/ lessons you can come across for PLO whilst playing NLHE & vice versa.

I have specialised in PLO for a few years now but I still work on holdem a bit and I can tell you that both games have their own sets of complexity in different facets, it's too difficult to claim that one game is more complex than the other aside from the fact combinations in PLO are some orders of magnitude greater than NLHE which makes things a bit painful without some good simulation software.
