Maybe it's just my perception, however, in moving up to higher stakes, people go pot with more garbage. Sat at a .25/.50 table. My first hand I get dealt AA45 double suited. I raise and get called pre-flop. A95 hits the flop. I go pot, villain raises me to all in. Surprise, I win with trip aces. This seems to happen all the time at higher stakes compared to the cattle car at .02/.04 and .05/.10.

you should not be potting that board.

That being said no, you just went against an aggro tard, people generally get better as you go up in stakes. It's just how it works.

With a short stack, you can imagine some hands he might have. Not everywhere they know to be aggro enough at micros but when you step up the games can get even too aggro at those levels before they again get some more solid.

OP is right though, how can villain get it in on that board when OP has AA so often?
