this is a top 25% of flops, why did you check as PFR? did you want to go for the c/r?
i'd start of with betting like 50 and see what happens. we're never dead!
I didn't mind another card rolling off, since so few cards are bad for me on this board, but also was planning on going for the check/raise. Given that SB went for the check/raise instead, I thought he was heavily weighted towards sets and three pair, a range I'm not doing great against.
Spot is extremely player dependent. Mostly I agree that you're up against 3pair and sets and you should just fold as you're barely missing implied odds assuming villain is good enough to sometimes c/f when flush hits (or at least only c/c once).
Vs tougher players that have thin value ranges and bluffs on the flop its a lot trickier. I would seriously consider a bluff-reraise. I know if I'm sitting in villains shoes I'm absolutely c/ring mp with something like bottom set or 2pair+flush draw, but I'm never going to be thrilled about playing something like that for 3 buyins.
Bluff-reraise looks like suicide move to me.How likely is that he has 2 or even 3 pair on
932 calling from the SB?What about having FD when hero blocks AQJ c?He might have middle or bottom set but it is very expensive way to find out with reraising. After all he might not even fold that hands.
^ It’s a multiway pot, a call from the small blind is hardly showing you have a Broadway heavy hand. But in general this isn’t really a board that hits people meaning it gets fought over by good aggressive players. If you want any 3bet bluffing range at all, this is a good hand to do it with since you always have at least 33% or so with the clean outs.
That said, I’m still agreeing this is a fold vs average players.
