holdem convert, sometimes spots come up I still get a bit lost
This was a fairly loose, reggy table, BTN was playing pretty wide pre. Everyone is like at least 150bbs deep.
MP open, BTN call, Hero call SB KKXX, BB call.
KQQfd x to BTN, 2/3, Hero call, BB fold, MP call.
Qx xxx
Xx, Hero?
Anyone raising flop?
What should we be doing otr? Some kind of blocking bet is maybe appropriate, or not?

Never have a raising range on this flop unless all other players are complete morons. Never folding assuming quads, unless another Q hits. More worried about people folding with roughly 0% equity.

I think protecting against a villain making quads isn't going to make up for losing value from wide 0% equity ranges and it's not even close. Raise flop is burning so much potential value against bluffs and some combos that can potentially make some second best hands to pay you off with on later streets.
For your overall strategy you shouldn't be raising many hands here if at all, the pot went 4 ways to a flop so if you want to raise KKxx here you have to come up with some bluffs and you simply don't want to be getting out of line bluffing 4 ways anyway. More importantly, having the nuts or otherwise strong hands in your calling range is going to protect you when you have the weaker holdings in your flop calling range and will tend to balance out fairly well without having to construct a raising range.
