GG Poker - $0.25 PL Hi FAST (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hello,

I mess around on GGPoker between 25NL/25PLO up to 100NL/100PL. Definitely no expert in these games and limited studying in them but had a fun hand today.

Preflop I know some would 3bet possibly but I call alot more than most people especially at these limits. I find keeping stack to pot ratios deeper more beneficial for me in most of these games.

Flop they pot. Seems like a standard call for me. I don't really see any advantage to raising against a potsize bet. Let's see a turn.

Turn is where I'm unclear. We have all the equity in the world against everything so I'm obviously not folding but we face pot again. Is it better to stack off here possibly against weaker draws, etc than to call and fold blank rivers or in the case of what actually happened, call and have villain fold river?

As played river is interesting cause I don't have many bluffs, alot of things get there. Maybe the straight doesn't really want to bet pot but at the same time I think my opponent is rather indifferent to calling 1/2 pot to pot with the range they are calling on the river(bluff catchers and stubborn value from the turn) so I bet pot.

I guess for the solvers guys I'm interested more in the turn than in the river but both spots feel interesting though. Maybe me not putting it in on the turn shove is a mistake.

I am a PLO fish, so I'd like to ask you guys something about this hand, too.

1) Do we have a flatting range on the button?

2) Is this a good combo to 3bet pre?

3) When we are this deep does it mean, that we want to raise ott less or more and why is that?

4) Do we mix in some smaller bets on the river, too?

Yes, we have a substantial flatting range on the button specifically.

You should be 3 betting this - big mistake this deep and having position with a nutty hand. Turn is only a call - you have great equity but getting more money in behind doesn't make sense. River sizing is not good - I think a smallish type of bet would be best to hope a set/2 pr call you.

i favour a turn raise. it's a nice spot where we are probably ahead equity wise anyway, so we're on a bit of a free roll. villain doesn't have to have a big hand just to bet twice.

No brainer 3bet and flop raise, imo.

I'm not sure why a turn raise doesn't make sense. We have two flush draws + a gutshot - nearly 50% equity, though some of our flush outs aren't to the nuts so we can discount slightly.

Think we can raise on all streets but in this situation it is strongly depending on this specific villains range if we would be good doing so.
