at this point, i assume he ran out of the college allowance for the month and had to scrounge up 20. monday i get home from playing golf(first golf tourney, i won it, scramble format, ship it!) and have a message from ben that he just won 7 grand from the 20 i sent him. i am like ya whatev, thinking he prob doesnt know about ptr. so i go look and sure enough....BOOM.
kid was up 7 grand. i log on and he is playing 3/6 plo hu against a hu hold em bum hunter. guy had played like 30 hands of plo before lol. obvious was following the kid. so i type in chat to quit this bumhunting scumbag and to call me. at this point i have never talked to the kid except for 2 facebook messages.
he calls and is obv excited. he admits that he is a super degen and cant handle the money. i am trying to help him out and make him cash out the max check 2500. set ur filters to not play higher than 50 cash games and 30 tourneys. i also tell him to block himself for 12 hours and go drinking with his buddies. all is well and i feel good for being a good older brother figure.
so tuesday morning i wake up and do my thing. log on to stars put my name on the waitlist for tables and see one with a waitlist 15 peeps long. i instantly knew why before i even looked. sure enough he is there and everyone on table has +1k stacks at the 50plo table. obv all from him. so i text him and am like wtf bro??? he said he forgot to block it lolz and went out drinking came home and been playing all night. thats his last 1k except for the cashout request. so i at least get him to break tables and we start 3 more. he loses it pretty quick. i got the most of it. dont really feel bad as i tried to help and also tried to talk him into quitting right then but he was tilted and said no.
then he wants to undo the cashout request lolz. takes a few hours to get it done but eventually he gets one more 2.5k plop in his account. he went crazy last night with the rest of it and lost it all. mostly to x_b_l. and xbl is a clown, he was ragging on him and making fun of him and just being an idiot. pretty funny/sad story as i am pretty sure this kid will have a massive gambling problem if he doesnt already.
