Going to attempt to learn PLO as my game. I think that for the moment it is much more profitable than NLH.

Will be starting at plo50 on Ipoker with 50 BI for the $ games which are the most popular but I will play all currencies.

I have a subscription to DC and am currently working my way through hellomaha. Are there any other vids/series tha you guys would recommend.

Also any one feel free to add me on Skype to talk chat etc my Skype I'd is: inthepub5

Was about to ask this myself. I've watched 2x6 by Vanessa Selbst which is good for an absolute begginer. Wondering what the best micro 6 max vids are for those just starting out.

Thanks

I'd classify these guys as 'advanced' PLO videos, not beginner.

Does anyone have any generic tips about c betting and double barreling? I realized I'm over valuing my hands and thus I drastically reduced my c betting especially in multiway pots.

C-betting depends on:

-number of opponents
-position
-opponents' agression
-opponents' likeliness to make laydowns on future streets

i recommend you post hands where you are not certain of you should cbet or not and we'll discuss

I analyzed some of my hands and I realized a lot of places where I lose money is when I cbet with something like top pair with a medicore draw and a scary turn/river card comes up causing me to slow down and check and fold to a decent sized turn/river bets due to my analysis of the situation. So, I reduced my cbetting especially if I'm OOP and probably c/f a lot of overpair with maybe some BD equity draws. If I'm in position I usually c bet on most flops. I realize it's a very situational question but obviously there are an infinite amount of possibilites, but for generic situations I just would like some tips. I know there are no absolute certainties about general tips would suffice. ie. Don't overvalue AAxx etc.

If I started posting hands about c betting spots I'll be posting nonstop.

I was ~3 bb/100 after 30k hands PLO10 on ipoker 3 month ago. I have been playing on Stars for 1 week now, losing at PLO2

How could?
Is the level of the game at Stars so high?

3bb/100 over 30k hands doesn't really mean anything in PLO. Just focus on getting better.

I know 30k hands is small, but I can "feel" the difference. Players on Stars (PLO2) are better than ipoker (PLO10). I think more spewy players on ipoker than stars. I rarely win big pot on stars. My vip/pfr about 30/15 on both sites.

in addition: I usually play at non-peak hours, so I can not table select on ipoker because there are not much table running.

no, I always playing normal table and buying in 100bb.
At first time I just wanted to adapt on Stars, so I was playing PLO2 instead of PLO10. But after a while I found out that I can not beat it.

Simply read and learn the game, watch videos, you should be able to beat those fairly quickly

I like to have "donk bet" and "c/r flop" next to each other on the HUD, helps me make c-betting decisions.

I think u should always customize ur HUD based on what info you use often, u can access most std info in HEM in the big stats pop-up during play.

Looking at other people's HUDs is obv useful in terms of thinking about what you should be looking at

donk bet % and cr % are really usefull, I wouldnt put won $ at showdown and showdown stats you basicly need a huge sample size for these to be meaningfull

I had a big problem with this after I switched to PLO 6max from LHE 6max, where it's basically standard to cbet 100%. Watching Lefty's Cardrunners video series called Steals & Peels (I think), was by far the biggest contributor to my PLO game ever.
